If you're wondering how to go to Andaman by water, three to four ships sail from Chennai, Vizag, and Kolkata each month. Both foreigners and Indians must have several licenses to access the Andaman Islands. You are permitted a 30-day stay in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a foreign national. You can get a permit for a day's halt at Ross Island, South Cinque Island, Narcondum Island, Brother Island, Interview Island, Barren Island, and Sister Island.
